The Mosque of Suleymaniye can be found at the end of Socrates Street with striking architecture. Its walls are coloured in rose pink. The Mosque symbolises the Ottoman reign and it is the most grandiose Mosque in Rhodes. The minaret of the mosque was demolished in 1987 due to safety reasons. Today, the mosque serves as a museum and can be visited on specific days.
